Comments: In 1997 both Tiger camp promoters joined forces to create a new and improved Tigers Camp.  This is a very successful camp that is well run by dedicated Tiger fans.  There is a large alumni of campers who regularly attend this camp so they have 2 camps back to back.  Spots fill up fast so make your reservations early.  I attended this camp myself in 1997 and had a great time.  Thanks to Jerry Lewis, Jim Price and all the Tigers staff.  Other events include "Field of Dreams" Camps to be held summers at Tiger Stadium.
These ratings are determined from information supplied by alumni of previous camps.  If you have been to one of these camps and would like to add you input, please use the Camp Evaluation Form.  Your input will be added in with other respondents to determine an overall camp rating.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
This is a great time.  I recommend it to anyone.
Detroit Tigers Field of Dreams camps are the only camps I know of that allow campers to play in big league ballparks without the costly trip to Florida.  I would recommend these camps to anyone who wanted to be a big leaguer, although you don't play against the former pros, you do get to play in major league facilites and not in a minor league camp.
1/3 of the camp was from outside Detroit.  There was not enough information on Detroit in general to feel safe.  The camp could have offered tickets for the home stand immediately before the camp.
If you are interested in attending, please email Camps@DennisMc.com with your snail mail address and phone number. Please specify which camp you are interested in. Further information and an application will be mailed to you. You may also use the Information Request Form.
