Nothing quite matches just "being there".  There, of course, is the City of Palms Park Complex, the week of February 2006. The City of Palms Park is the spring training home of the Red Sox and to experience the thrill of playing on the same field and dressing in the same locker is abo``ut as close as you can come to being a real big leaguer.  Imagine listening to Hall of Famer CARL YASTRRZEMSKI give a hitting clinic or receiving instruction on all aspects of the game from Red Sox Hall of Famers DWIGHT EVANS, FRANK MALZONE, JIM RICE and LUIS TIANT.  Other former Red Sox players, coaches and managers who will appear at the 2006 Red Sox Fantasy Camps include  Rick Burleson, John Curtis, Dick Drago, Sam Horn, Rein Nichols, Ken Sanders, Rick Wise and others... Plus an appearance by announcer Joe Castiglione.
So, make sure you are in Ft. Meyers, Florida this winter.  It's the place to be.
Then head for Boston in the summer for a game one day at Fenway Park.

Your Baseball Week at the 2006 Red Sox Fantasy Camp includes:

  • Your own authentic Red Sox uniform and cap.  Plus, each participant receives a Red Sox road jersey.
  • Games each day.  Instruction by former Red Sox.
  • The big game against the former Red Sox on Saturday at City of Palms Park.  Each participant receives a video of his or her game.
  • Hotel accommodations (double occupancy) at The Best Western Waterfront in Ft. Myers.
  • Breakfast and Lunch each day.
  • Round trip air transportation from Boston to Ft. Myers. 
  • Transportation provided from hotel to ball park every day.
