| Minor league baseball offers
a different atmosphere than the big show and is a bit closer to the Middle
Aged Jock . Many leagues and tournaments have former minor league players
as well as former MLB players. Minor league parks are smaller and much
cheaper than Major Leagues and are more intimate. It's nice to follow a
local star but they rarley stay around very long. Sometimes they even become
big time superstars. Almost all players spent time in the minor leagues.
I only follow the local teams in California and the Dodgers minor league
